Hunter Hills Kennel
Was established in 1992 after the owners Roger and Susan Hunter first met and were married. Roger has been
involved in dogs since 1980 when he purchased his first show dogs, a Rottweiler and a Shih Tzu. Roger and
Susan started Hunter Hills with their purchase of their first Brittany, Ch. Bruzzone’s Major Attraction, JH and
finished his championship by the time he was 11 months old and completed his junior hunting title by the time he
was 2 years old. Susan campaigned Tucker as a special and received multiple Best of Breed wins and Group
placements, but her proudest moment was getting a Group Two under Judge Robert J. Moore. Susan has
become a good handler and has finished many dogs, not only for Hunter Hills but also other breeds for her clients.
Roger has shown many dogs to their Championships, won many breed specialties, awards of merit at specialties
and Best of Breed at Westminister, as well as Best of Breed at National Specialties. Roger has placed several
breeds in the top 10 of their breed. Roger companioned a Welsh Springer Spaniel (Quincy) to #1 in the breed for
2 years in a row, and won their National Championship those same years. Quincy was only the 2nd Welsh
Springer Spaniel to have won American Spaniel Specialty, Westminister & the Nationals in the same year. We
would like to thank Marion Daniels for allowing us the opportunity to show this lovely dog and have him for the 2
years. We only wish he would have been younger to continue.
